Enrica Borghi

Born in Premosello Chiovenda (Verbania) on June 19, 1966, she lives and works in Novara. She attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, graduating in sculpture in 1990. She began her artistic career in 1993, taking part in the group exhibition Progetto Borderline. Since then she has exhibited widely in Italy and abroad. The group exhibitions she has taken part in include: Interakcie I e II, 1995; Trash. Quando i rifiuti diventano arte, 1997; Money & Value/The Last Taboo, Expo 02, 2002; and Melting Pop, 2003. Her major solo exhibitions include: La Regina. Installazione per i bambini, 1999; Enrica Borghi, 2000; and Bio-boutique, Le Parvis - Centre d'Art Contemporain, Ibos (France), curated by Odile Biec and Mariella Rossi, 2004.
